Great interview from MTV w/ the cast

This is a great interview done by our favorite man Larry, when he interviews the cast the MTV award show.
It's one of the most anticipated films of 2009 and already has hundreds of fan sites devoted to it. Now, the stars of "New Moon" are revealing details about key scenes from the flick that will surprise even the most die-hard fans.

I have to say I had my doubts about CW directing NM, but I don't have my doubts any more. From reading up on the interviews, behind the scenes stuff and so forth, he's proven to me he know his stuff and NM should be an awesome movie! I can't wait till Nov.

Q. What was your reaction when you were first offered the job?

A. I was surprised because it happened very suddenly, and I had a week and a half to decide whether I was gong to do it or not. Then I saw the first film, I saw the case and I thought, 'This is going to be great, actually. Kristen, Rob and Taylor were great' - that’s what convinced me to do it. And I read the book and I thought I saw my way of making a good version of the book. It’s really a question of whether I can do justice to the book and to please the readers. That’s my job. It’s not to run away with it and just do my version of things. It’s to be faithful to their experience of reading it

New Moon Trailer breaking all sorts of records

In just a single week, Summit Entertainment’s “New Moon” trailer reached 10.6 million video streams across launch partners MTV and MySpace.
The social networking site broke some big records, with 4.2 million online views in the first 24 hours, contributing to a total of 7.8 million streams in the first seven days. MTV didn’t exactly fare poorly, with 5.3 million viewers tuned in for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards broadcast premiere and another 2.8 million streams in the following week.

New Moon Week

ET will be showing a scene/clip of New Moon tonight and then MTV on Sunday will of course of have more clips to show us!! I can't wait for that. I'm hoping that ET will be showing something different than MTV, and MTV most likely will have a whole lot more clips than ET. It's a big NM week!!!

Twilight Lexicon's Interview w/ Charlie Bewley aka Demetri

1) We understand from a recent interview that you have read New Moon. Have you also read the other two, and what do you think of them?
Yeah, I read the audiobooks. Obviously I honed in on all the Volturi bits in order to build my character profile. So, I am looking forward to a more thorough read during the break in between films. I do understand the general plot of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, but unfortunately I can’t sit down and read at the moment because of my insane schedule.

Hello, hello!! :)

Okay, I lied. I still am so behind on all the great news going on. i've neglected this site lately. I'm still having a hard time w/ my Grandmother's passing, but it's also made me realize how much time I spend on the computer, when I don't mean to. I have a lot of different things I'm doing right now and this poor site is being shoved to the back corner. I finally asked and got a Co-Lead to help me over my awesome team on Twilight Moms, I've started a site for the Mortal Instruments series called Mundie Moms and I'm helping out w/ some other things that I will soon mention on here. So the last few weeks I've just slowed down a bit on my on line duties to enjoy life a bit more. I've been so wrapped up into everything else, that I've forgotten to just slow down and enjoy all that's around me. Let me say, it's been great to do that lately.

THANK YOU for not forgetting me. I promise I've not forgotten you guys. :)

SO, in the mean time I've got a few pictures you guys might like and then I promise this week I'll update the blog. I won't necessarily go back and update all the old news, but I'll update the blog with current info. I know I've missed saying Happy Birthday to both Rob and Kristen!!! I know there's been some great TwiCon news announced. We've sold a lot of the 100 Monkeys tickets for their Friday night show there. Which is so awesome!!
